Gentle prairie breezes roll over a lush field of golden grain. Bring this spacious panoramic vista to your kitchen counter backsplash with this large format, subway shaped tile. Designed to seam together at the edges, creating a continuous field, these ten inch by six inch tiles achieve an almost photographic realism of the image of a wheat field. The image however, is created by covering a subtle texture, embossed into the surface of the porcelain clay with a thick layer of amber glaze. The glaze pools and fills the recesses, and recedes from the edges creating the value contrast. This wheat tile can also be glazed with our Steel Gray glaze.
